KICKED
‘KICKED’ was Madeleine’s experimental short film entry for the 24/7 filmmaking competition by INEFF (International Network of Experimental Fiction Filmmaking).
It was shortlisted for the 2026 INEFF Film Festival in Manchester, UK.
The film was made with three creative constraints and is a reflection on working life expressed through the unique visuals of backstage at a television studio.
Stone and Ivy
Madeleine directed for the first time whilst undertaking filmmaking workshops at Twister Pictures Academy (TPA) in Manchester. She led the cohort to make their short film ‘Stone and Ivy’.
‘Stone and Ivy’ is a short drama film about a couple navigating the difficulties of inevitable loss. Told through therapy sessions and snapshots of their life together, they unpack the complexities of their dynamic and what lies ahead. Made by mostly first-time filmmakers, the cohort from TPA wanted to tell a story about communication and interpersonal relationships.
It debuted at the Twister Pictures Showcase in June 2026 in Manchester, UK.
